Hobart Canada Names Director of Marketing, VP of Sales

Dave Sherman, president of Hobart Canada, today announced that Mark Schilling has joined Hobart Canada as director of marketing, and Doug McKinnon was promoted to vice president of sales for ITW Food Equipment Group (FEG) Canada. Both Schilling and McKinnon will be based in the North York office and will report directly to Sherman.

“Mark’s commitment to excellence and enthusiasm for innovative thinking are directly in line with Hobart Canada’s goal of delivering quality equipment and service to support its customers,” said Sherman.

“Doug’s enthusiastic and positive style, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the market, FEG products and brands, and our end users and channel partners, will service him well in this new assignment,” Sherman added.

Prior to this position, Schilling was with the North American Controls Division at Honeywell since 2004. He most recently held the position of channel marketing leader, providing strategic and tactical marketing direction to their sales, distributor, and marketing teams. Prior to 2004, Mark held marketing and sales roles with FedEx, Dun & Bradstreet, and Purolator.

McKinnon began his career with Hobart Service in Toronto on March 24, 1969. Over the years, he has progressed through a series of positions in service management, sales management, product management and marketing before assuming the role of director of business development in 2008.
