Hobart is the leading worldwide supplier of equipment, systems and service to the world’s food industry.

Hobart offers the broadest line of equipment including cooking, food preparation, refrigeration, bakery systems, warewashing and waste systems, and weighing, wrapping and labeling systems.

Headquartered in North York, Ontario with branch offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Montreal, Quebec; Toronto, Ontario; Edmonton, Alberta; and Vancouver, British Columbia. Hobart currently employs more than 200 employees. Included in this number are over 100 service technicians providing nationwide service, the industry’s largest service organization.

The company has a long and proud history in Canada beginning in 1910 when it became the first sales representation outside of the U.S.A.

Hobart and quality have been synonymous since the beginning. Hobart equipment is known for its durability and dependability, setting the quality standard for the food equipment industry.

Hobart Canada is made up of the Hobart, Traulsen, Baxter, Vulcan, Berkel and Stero brands. These brands are all a part of the Illinois Tool Works (ITW) Food Equipment Group, the parent company of these independent companies, which all design and manufacture commercial food equipment for foodservice and food retail customers.
